Dream Bike Campaign

ChildFund Ireland wants to give vulnerable girls in developing countries a means to get to school safely and on time.  It takes just €100 to buy a bike and change a life.   Your support can provide vulnerable girls with a pathway to a more stable future.  Lets help them get there…

Education is crucial to the long term development of children.  In developing countries, the journey a girl takes to school is often on foot, and can be long, exhausting and dangerous.  Girls can take hours getting to school, leaving long periods where they are away from the safe haven of home, or school.   The toll this takes on them and the difficulty in getting to school regularly can disrupt their learning, or tragically, see them drop out of school entirely.  A simple gift of a bike can empower a girl to get to school safely, and play a big role in stabilising her future learning.  You can make this dream become a reality by supporting the Dream Bike campaign today.

The Dream Bike Campaign is aimed at providing bikes to girls in Ethiopia, India, Mozambique, Sri Lanka  Thailand & Uganda.  Read how bikes supplied by generous donors have helped change children’s lives in Ethiopia and Thailand
