Statement from ChildFund Ireland

The Charity continues the process of engagement with the Charities Regulatory Authority in relation to governance, accountability and viability.  Our objective is to secure the organisations future and we will issue a statement to all stakeholders when this process is complete.

In the best interests of the Charity going forward we are engaged with ChildFund International, a sister organisation to ChildFund Ireland, which has already given financial support and guarantees to ensure operations can continue.

The Board of ChildFund Ireland is delighted with this support and we look forward to developing the potential and purpose of both organisations in the very best interests of those children we support.

We are very conscious that the funds raised, thanks to the support of our stakeholders, continue to support the poorest children in mainly rural areas of the developing world. We are determined and confident that we will have a positive conclusion to this present period of uncertainty.
