On Monday night RTE Nationwide broadcast a special programme on a recent visit to Ethiopia by camogie stars Aoife Murray and Mags D’Arcy.

Mags and Aoife had an unforgettable experience in Ethiopia as guests of ChildFund Ireland

Mags and Aoife did us proud in helping to promote our Dream Bike initiative for vulnerable girls

Dublin, September 6th, 2016: Brian Mac Neill

In a show broadcast last Monday night (September 5th) Anne Cassin and the team from RTE Nationwide captured some truly memorable and heartwarming images from our recent visit to Ethiopia. The visit was arranged to raise public awareness of our Dream Bike initiative for girls, and the programme includes footage of the very first girls to receive bikes under the scheme.  It also features what we believe to be the first game of camogie played on African soil!  If you missed the show first time around, make sure you grab this fantastic opportunity to see the work we do on the ground for disadvantaged children in places like Ropi, Ethiopia.

Irish viewers can relive the brilliant RTE Nationwide Ethiopia special on the RTE Player herehttp://www.rte.ie/player/ie/show/nationwide-21/10619305/

International viewers can access the programme by visiting this link and downloading the app from the iTunes library herehttps://www.rte.ie/playerinternational/

It takes just €100 to buy a bike and change a life.
