ChildFund Alliance members currently have programmes in over fifty countries world-wide. ChildFund Ireland has children sponsored in 24 countries in Africa, Asia and Central/South America. For non-sponsorship programmes go to Grant Funded Projects. Towards the end of 2004, ChildFund Ireland decided to concentrate its efforts on a smaller number of countries where it could be more effective and supportive to the implementing partners who are affiliated members of ChildFund Alliance. As part of this strategy, new sponsors will be offered children for sponsorship in 11 countries as outlined to the left. By clicking on the country name, you will be able to read a brief outline of the activities being carried out by the ChildFund affiliate in that country. Where resources allow however, ChildFund Ireland will continue to be available to support ChildFund affiliates in all countries in times of crisis.
